I have waited up to an hour here before

I have waited up to an hour here before, but it is lighter today. Staff certainly put you at ease with their attitude, they are very pleasant and relational towards their patients. It is a good service.

Reusable tourniquets

I tried to book an appointment but all taken so I am using the walk in service today. I don't like the fact that they use reusable tourniquets is it not an infection control issue?. I observed recently one early evening that a staff member in this department snapped at a patient impatiently.

Staff friendly and very helpful right from check in screen to the actual blood test.
Check in screen issues

The screen where you check in did not seem to work today for me and as a result it has caused me to wait 30 minutes longer. Staff are very efficient at their job, high quality care.
Welcoming staff

I am using the walk in service today, the check in machine says I will be seen in about an hour. Staff are welcoming and friendly, I do like the flexibility of the service.

There can be a significant wait at times. It is a professional and quick to take blood, the staff are very friendly. Maybe more phlebotomist's would speed things up a bit.

Sometimes you can wait up to an hour to be seen and other times its really quick. I don't get on well with the check in screens, I prefer a receptionist to check me in.
