To get appointments at the hospital for blood tests is very easy, I call up to arrange the appointments and then get them when I need them with little delay. There's also flexibility with appointments so that they can fit around lifts to the appointment.

Getting bloods done at the hospital has always been good and it's been quick to get appointments. The staff are always helpful and will sort out any issues when you are in the department.

I use a bit of a mix of online and phone to get appointments depending on my access to the internet. At home I have limited access so tend to call but if I'm at work I'll go online. I can be difficult to get blood from and some staff don't always listen but overall they are excellent and it works well.

The online system is easy to use and I've had no issues booking, including the next three. Initially I found it a bit confusing as it wasn't clear how to move on as additional information was needed but now I know how to do it, it's fine. Normally I'm in and out quickly , its quicker than the older system and staff are good.
Quicker appointments

I've noticed that appointments are available sooner now which is good. I use a mix of online, which I've got used to, and the phone to arrange appointments and I believe there should always be a phone option and not just online. Not having access to public transport makes it more challenging to get appointments.

The phone is my first choice for contacting the team as I find it easier to speak to someone and get a flexible appointment as you can discuss what options are available. The staff taking the blood are very good, it never hurts.
Son books for me

My son books my appointments for me online and the appointments are available quickly enough for me. Normally the turnaround is quick and the staff are lovely and friendly, a lot friendlier than they used to be.

I use online to book appointments unless my doctor arranges it . It all works pretty well but sometimes I have to wait 2-3 weeks for appointments. You can go back in to the system to check for anything sooner once you've book to try and find an earlier date. It's a fairly simple system to use but then I'm used to using computers compared to other patients.

Normally go straight in which is great, there's no hanging around. I normally book online so that I can choose a day in advance that suits me, there's flexibility in the system to allow that. Staff are very good as sometimes it takes time to get my blood but they handle it very well. Its a simple system but runs efficiently.
Swiftqueue works well

Swiftqueue has worked okay in the past but I've had issues recently being able to book an urgent appointment as the hospital didn't make it overly clear that is what was needed and online they were too far away. I then had issues with my surgery but eventually they recognised the urgency and arranged a quick appointment.
