Service is good

As a service it is good the only issue I've had is the doctors surgery giving inaccurate information about the booking process which meant I thought it had been arranged and booked by them.
Runs smoothly

The oncology department mainly book my appointments which works really well but when I have to do it it can mean a 1-2 week wait for the appointment, which I find hard.
A very good service

Its a very good service and the staff are brilliant but the issue is getting the GPs to tell patients the proper process to arrange appointments which is either calling or going online as there is no turn up and wait option.
Marvellous

I have regular appointments and I do sometimes find that appointments aren't available through swiftqueue quite as quickly as I would like which can be a little tricky but if this happens and the bloods are needed more quickly my GP practice will arrange quicker appointments.
Perfect process

I find the online booking process perfect, with 1 week wait for appointments which isn't bad at all. The staff are brilliant, very efficient and the results are quickly sent straight through to Addenbrookes who need them, all paperwork is done well too.
Appointments in a week

I call the booking line to arrange an appointment the following week. When the hospital department arrange the appointment it is a bit of an easier process but the department is very busy and overall I'm impressed.
Kind environment

I've been able to arrange an appointment in a weeks time at the hospital for my six monthly blood test which is brilliant. It's a lovely kind environment where staff are really willing to help too.
Booked but not on system

I booked this appointment about 10 weeks ago after speaking to my GP but I have arrived and I'm not in the system so they do not know what tests need to be done. It appears that the GP hasn't done what was needed so staff kindly explained what I needed to do and they would then try to squeeze me in. Unfortuantely, I haven't been able to get through to my surgery so I will have to come back another time when I've managed to contact them. The chairs in the waiting room aren't overly comfortable and they slope back making getting up more difficult.
A little more discretion needed

When we came in to the department it would've been nice if the member of staff had been a bit more discrete when asking who had referred my daughter for the blood test as she was quite self conscious with the other patients behind us in the queue. We were referred here by her consultant and normally we don't wait very long to be seen.
Staff are friendly

I've been referred from with in the hospital for this blood test so I have to just turn up and wait but so far its worked well and I've not had to wait long.
