Quick to get appointments. When I've had a telephone appointment its worked well and I've had face to face appointments the last two times. Econsult has worked well to contact the surgery getting good responses and I've been able to ask to see a specific female GP easily enough too. Its all positive.

Can get in virtually straight away or with in a good time depending on the issue and I've found that telephone consultations have worked really well and have then led to face to face appointments. The care and treatment staff provide is very good and it really doesn't matter who you see. The reception team are good to deal with and when I've completed an econsult the system has worked well and resulted in an appointment with in 24 hours.

The telephone consultations are good and lead to a face to face appointment when they are needed. I like to see a specific doctor but that's not always possible and although appointments are available I've found that telephone consultations are more likely. The staff though are very good.
Not waiting long

You don't always get to see the same doctor but I do try if possible to do that, however, it doesn't affect the care though. The doctors are understanding and the nurses are lovely. I've seen the nurse today for a pre booked appointment, it has been a two week wait for the appointment but generally I've not had to wait long for them and have been very happy.
Like to see my GP

I've been able to get appointments including face to face appointments when needed. I do feel that it makes a difference when you see your own GP because they know you better. I called this morning and was 54th in line but I was given a appointment straight away and was being seen by 10am.

I'm a light user of the service but I have noticed that it does take a bit more time to go through the process. The phones can be busy if calling first thing for an on the day but calls later on to book an appointment in advance aren't to bad. Mainly having face to face appointments but with different GPs and I would prefer better continuity. Most of the time I'm happy with care and treatment but when staff say different things can be worrying. There are no issues withstand on reception they are always helpful no matter who you see.

Challenging to get through on the phone and get appointments. The payment machine at Bures has not been working for months and doesn't seem to be being fixed which is unhelpful. The dispensary has also got medication wrong and I was given a different patients tablets

The phones have improved and fairly recently I've been offered a choice of a telephone call or a face to face appointment and I'm happy that I can see one of the GPs. Its an easy and straight forward process to access appointments and the staff are pretty good too. Unfortunately you can hear what people are saying in reception.

All good but I have been asked to attend the Bures surgery once. Appointments are available and I prearranged todays appointment. Even when high up in the queue on the phone I've got through quickly and I feel it is better than before. Blood tests are done at the surgery more quickly than going up to the health centre.
A bit hit and miss

Phone calls can take time, I've been 40th in the queue which is frustrating. I tried to cancel an appointment but the wait was so long I didn't get through in time and I felt so unwell. It would be great if there was a cancellation line of some kind. Reception are friendly and helpful and the other staff good but parking is very difficult.
