Good but

Reception are wonderful, really helpful. I have had to chase with a few things the doctors are meant to have done like a referral which wasn't done. I can't take my phone in to work or do an econsult during work hours which makes it very difficult contacting the surgery or receiving a call back. It would help if when the doctors call back they could leave a message to say they'd called. The pharmacist who did my medication review was great and very helpful but to get a blood test meant a two week wait.

It is very busy so I tend to pop in to the surgery to arrange appointments. When I've called I've been 29th in the queue so have hung up and called later. It's just not the same as it used to be but they can't help that as recruitment is difficult for them.

Have had issues with doctors following up on things which has been frustrating but care normally is good.
Impossible to get an appointment

Impossible to get an appointment unless prepared to sit next to a phone for 1 hour +. This is not feasible for a professional who starts work at 7.00am
Awful- lack of help and understanding

Daughter had bloods done and was told to call for results last week. Messaged today and they have said no doctor so will have to wait. Surely there is 1 doctor working who can look at these results. Suffering with severe health anxiety is horrific enough.
Appointments run behind

When appointments run behind its difficult as I have to come by taxi and then ask them to wait while I have the appointment which gets very expensive. I try to have blood tests here as it is cheaper than going to the health centre and the staff here are lovely.
Care and treatment good

I've never had a problem with the care and treatment I've received from GPs but the process to get appointments is difficult when calling at 8am and you have to work. I work out of the area so when appointments are on the day I'm not near by when they invite me in for an appointment. It also shouldn't be necessary to take the day off for non urgent matters. However, I have just been told that I can now book 2 or 7 days in advance which is more flexible and an improvement.

Phoning for the appointments , the triage calls and econsult have all worked well and have enabled me to get appointments. I don't know the doctors so I'm happy to see any of them. I've had reminder letters for appointments and I was happy with my 6 week check with my baby.
A lovely surgery

Friendly staff, nice, helpful and accommodating and it's not been an issue to get appointments either. The main issue is around the dispensary and getting medication at times.
Dispensary is an issue

I have had issues getting medication and I have run out. I was told that the medication I needed was in my bag but they weren't and they weren't back at the surgery either. Staff have apologised but it's not the first time that there has been an issue.
