Do get appointments

I arrived slightly late for my appointment and couldn't be seen and had to arrange another appointment which was disappointing. Generally the surgery is doing great and I've been able to see a doctor when needed.

Although the phones are busy I've been able to get appointments when I've needed them. I've had phone consultations followed by a face to face appointment and this worked very well. I've found that the discussions have been handled well and staff listen and don't judge. The only issue is that appointments at Great Cornard are very restricted so I've had to come here for most appointments which is more difficult as I don't drive.

I did spend 20 mins on the phone but I was booked an appointment by reception for later in the morning. The care from the doctors is very good and I'm happy with everything they do.

Appointments are normally quick to get and the doctors are very professional and don't waste time. I really can't fault the surgery, I can visit any of the surgery sites so appointment are flexible to get and the receptionist are very accommodating, caring, approachable and polite.
Engaging nurses

Once through to the surgery I normally get appointments fairly easily but last week I was told there were no GP appointments available and to call back the next day, which I did and then got an appointment the following day. The nurses are particularly engaging and very good but I do find the quality of the music on the phone line not very good, its very crackly.
Supportive staff

Staff are great and are very supportive, explaining issues well. I've found it easy to get seen and have appointments and I use the NHS App to order my prescriptions which works really well.

I'm a new patient but the registration process was really straightforward and the conversations I've had with staff have all been great. I've spoken to the pharmacist and they were very helpful and I've been able to arrange a new patient review easily although I've not seen any one in person yet.

I was first in the queue this morning and was given an appointment with a doctor straightaway. I felt the conversation I had with them went well and they were able to gather the information needed to decided which doctor I needed to see. I have absolutely no complaints with the surgery.

Children are seen very quickly and their asthma is dealt with well by the doctors and if anything happens they are seen quickly and I've been very happy with the care. The phones aren't that busy and I've been able to speak to the team quickly and arrange appointments.

Normally I would go to the Cornard surgery as it is walking distance from where I live but that's not as easy as it was as more appointments are here now. My diabetic checks take place regularly and I'm really happy with the care and support provided by the nurses.
