Excellent staff and service

I've been very happy and staff have been very attentive. Absolutely brilliant. There is nothing wrong with the service provided. I've had fantastic care. well thought out ward The staff are calk, friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. They have responded quickly; they do seem to be stretched though. I'm fed up with eating broccoli but other than that the food isn't too bad, just a bit bland and boring. the OTs have sorted out all the equipment I need for home and I'm due to go home soon.

Staff seem very happy in their work and that makes a huge difference when you are recovering. Staff are very friendly and approachable . Staff have been comforting and caring to me. I want to go home but I could very happily spend more time here as staff have been so great

Staff have been really good to me. When pressing the call button there have been slight delays but I've not been worried. Unclear information about the TV meant that we purchased a £20 card when we didn't need to. Information/communication is not always clear and messages can get mixed. Really nice staff, very friendly

I put in a complaint re a consultant in the eye department. The complaints department were so helpful and supportive ensuring that the eye department fully investigated my complaint

Fair. Nurses nice but care not great

Brantham ward

Sickle cell crisis. Was in so much pain had to go to hospital. They didn't know what to do with me.
When the haematologist arrived he said why can I not drink enough water. Do you need to be on I.V. fluids? Well you don't have an infection so you will be ok in a few days. Was in a week, the nurses were nice

Fair but out patient appointment system is bad

Outpatients

Issues with outpatient appointments. Appointments are not being sent out and require patients to contact the hospital. This will be an issue for those who are less able to pursue the hospital!

Excellent - staff wonderful

Paediatrics/children services

My 15 year old suffered abdominal pains. We got an out of hours GP appointment at the hospital. She was diagnosed with appendicitis and treated really well. All the staff were wonderful
