They try to make you feel more relaxed
Accident and emergency services

Always happy and they try to make you feel more relaxed. A & E have longer waits but generally everything has been ok. Was admitted for an operation and it all went well. I was offered language line but I didn't need it.

Orthopaedics

Referral from GP has taken about 8 months but I've had treatment along the way. In between there have been long waits to be seen. Booking appointments was all straightforward. Due to pressure and demand the waits are quite long sometimes
Waiting times are between 30 + 45 mins
Orthopaedics

Waiting times are between 30 + 45 mins and this is the only problem. Very easy to access and the service is generally good.

Think we need more domestic carers
Automated appt call too late in evening
September 5, 2016
I had an automated call from Ipswich Hospital to tell me the date and time of my next appointment but the call was at 10 pm, after I had gone to bed and it woke me up. Seems unnecessary to be making automated calls so late in the evening.

Receiving care for prostate cancer and only have praise for the staff there. I belong to the prostate support group, which is very good, we meet every other month.
Pain management service is good
Pain management

A very good service but I have had difficulties with my GP and consultant prescribing medication that don't go well together. Considering the medication I'm on they monitor me well and keep everything under control.
