They took good care of me and explained what they were doing. I went to A&E with a mouth problem. They operated on me during the day and then I went home. The injection they gave me did hurt and i cried

I went to A&E as I needed stitches, they explained everything to me. I had to stay in overnight to check I was ok. I went home the following morning and I liked having a TV on the ward.

A&E were great when I broke my collar bone. I was seen quickly and staff made sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening.
Lymphoedema Massage
Lymphatic Drainage
August 5, 2016
I have lymphoedema and require massage to help keep the swelling down but the service that was previously available at Ipswich hospital has been withdrawn and the same has now happened at West Suffolk too.
Very approachable to talk about treatment
Rehabilitation

The staff were so helpful and caring and always open to discussion of ongoing treatment. The whole experience could be be faulted. Made the already existing stressful situation easier to bare. (Radiotherapy dept)
Great Team
Rushmere medical day unit
July 29, 2016
New patient for the Rushmere Medical Day Unit and they've been excellent in helping to accommodate two different infusions on the same day. This cuts down on my traveling time (40 mins each way) and additional time off work. Friendly team and very helpful and kind.
Praise for gastroenterology
Gastrointestinal and Liver services
July 28, 2016
The gastroenterology doctor has acted very quickly to arrange investigations and has further contacted me with helpful information.
Lack of information prior to biopsy
Cancer services
July 28, 2016
Attended Rushmere Day Unit to have a biopsy. Would have been very useful to have had a leaflet/letter with more information beforehand, for example what is a 'light' breakfast. Only discovered on the ward in the afternoon that could have kept drinking fluids since breakfast. Staff on the ward were kind & helpful.
Excellent care and very professional
Respiratory Medicine

I was in hospital for 5 days with a pneumothorax and was in Kirton ward. Everyone was brilliant and couldn't do enough to keep me comfortable and happy.
