Waits for blood tests can be long

I have regular blood tests at the hospital and the waits for appointments can be very long, the bonus is that you get the results the same day.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments, the wait for blood tests depends on patient activity at the time you arrive and sometimes this can lead to a delay, we try to minimise this as much as possible. On the positive side I am pleased that your results arrived quickly.

Great care following chest pain

I went to A&E after seeing my doctor with chest pain. When I arrived I was seen immediately, had an ECG and was then taken to a ward. I eventually went to the cardiac ward where everybody was great. I stayed in over night and had a stent fitted and was discharged the following evening from the ward. Medication was arranged and this was picked up from the local pharmacy.

Radiotherapy staff were great.

I had radiotherapy for 8 weeks and I was very well treated. Everything was explained well and the staff were great.

The consultant tried a number of things to stop the pain I was in and finally found something that worked. I've been pain free since February and have now been discharged.
