Generally happy with care

Have had a difficult time getting through to the department at the hospital. They only have a small window in which you can call, so I had to call an emergency number and they are sorting it out.

Paediatrics/children services

Paediatric consultant has been excellent. Care has been amazing and quick. All information has been given. Son needed a sleep study but this aren't available as the post is vacant, however they have arranged for it to be done at home. Really are great.

surgeon listened, looked at scan, talked with patient and changed extent of operation on day of surgery.
All staff kind, responsive and professional. Also kind and considerate of me as carer.

Changing my medication

I was in for a week and they changed two of my tablets, which I was already taking, but they upped the dosage. I already have had to stop one of them as it was making my heart beat far too slow. I do feel like I am being moved from Pillar to Post at the moment and between the Hospital and GP they are just 'guessing'

Time keeping an issue here

Outpatients

Staff are very lovely but could communicate waiting times to us as the patients better. It is annoying just not knowing, and an hour later you just get fed up. When you know, at least you can go for a wonder or to get a refreshment.

I am sorry that you had a wait for your treatment, we do attempt to keep delays to a minimum however sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances delays to happen. We are informing patients of waiting times using the screens in waiting rooms and A&E. I will remind the departments to ensure that delays are displayed for patients to see. Many thanks

This was much faster than I thought it would be. I was seen by the triage nurse quickly and I was given a tetanus injection and told to see the GP or Nurse Practitioner in 10 days.

Exemplary care

I had Bi-lateral knee replacements and received exemplary care and service. From the Consultant to the Nursing team and my stay on the ward. It was all excellent.

Excellent experience all round

CT Scan

I had a scan all over. It was an excellent appointment experience. I had a 4 week wait for it and I felt that was acceptable.
