Extremely responsive

Sometimes theres a longer wait on the phone but the staff are extremely responsive and respond in a good timeframe. I've not found econsult to be particularly user friendly, the questions aren't always relevant but it does result in appointments. I've not had any issues getting my medication, they are always ready on time to pick up.

Diabetic care is good

Call on the day or can have a prebooked appointments but not waited long for either. My diabetic care and reviews have been good but my eye sight is deteriorating due to my diabetes which is difficult.

Busy phones

Very long waits on the phone, I gave up yesterday but today I was only 3rd in the queue and it only took 8 minutes to get through. I spoke to a care navigator and received a call back quite quickly and then I've been invited in. The phones are the frustrating element.

Staff good

Its a perfect local service where staff are good. I'm happy to see any one so that probably helps a little. One thing I don't really like is having to wait 40 minutes on the phone just to be told someone will call me back as its frustrating. I am a little concerned that medication reviews are done by phone, you could say anything and it would be accepted if it sounded good, it might not be the truth.

Regular review done well

I had my regular review and managed to book the appointment ahead of time and didn't have to wait long. To get a normal appointment though is not so easy as have to talk to someone.

Appointments difficult to get

Appointments aren't available when needed and theres no flexibility in the system. My doctor has been great and has really listened to my concerns but there is little flexibility to allow easy appointments to be booked ahead so you can plan ahead especially if you need help with getting to the surgery.

Perfect

Never not been able to get an appointment. Its a brilliant service, the system works well, sometimes theres a bit of a wait on the phone but appointments are available. Its a brilliant example of a surgery as they react quickly and are very supportive.

Difficult as the system is more protracted with econsult and it's not as easy to be seen.

Can't ever see a GP. - waited six weeks

You have to navigate through receptionist who gets to see if you need a GP. What experience do they have to decide? I had a paramedic tell me I hadn't had asthma inhaler for over year, had one in Feb this year!!

Perfect

The surgery are responsive, friendly and helpful and I've felt very well listened to. I've had quick responses when using econsult and get called in the next day. The only things I'd change are the music on the phone when on hold as that could be better and it would be better if someone was on reception as you can wait a while for someone to appear. I have more recently seen that a little bell is a bit hidden away on the desk, but its not obvious where it is kept.
