Good staff

I prefer to see my own GP and the system allows you to book with a particular doctor. The staff are all good and the timeframe for appointments is great and works well. The doctors and nurses give you time in appointments and are so approachable. For some reason I had a review in December and then again around my birthday, which they said they were aligning the appointments with.
A bit confused

I find it confusing that they can't book more than two weeks ahead. Was told to book an appointment after seeing the GP but then when I spoke to reception they weren't able to do it. I do like to see the same GP if possible and I usually pop in to the surgery to book appointments as it's much easier to do that. I'm of an age now where most of my appointments are screening for issues and this works well.

Victoria Surgery has supported me and my family for many years and has been nothing but brilliant. My family Dr is the most compassionate person who always does their best to help in whichever way possible. The reception staff are kind and genuine; they try their hardest to assist always. I am so grateful to this surgery in so many ways.

Navigating your web site is difficult to understand and not at all intuitive. With the login being handled by a third party using there own custom format that in no way resemble normal login formats.

Helpful receptionists & Drs who go the extra mile to listen & try to help. Good access to face-to-face Dr appts & clean, comfortable & safe premises.

The children get seen quickly which is good and if the problem is urgent we get seen too. I'm happy to explain the reason for the appointment and when we've seen staff they understand issues and explain things well. In the last 6 months there has been a massive difference in the availability of appointments but when we've had phone appointments they've led to face to face appointments too and I like to choose what type of appointment is most suitable and I'm happy to see any of the doctors, they're all good.
Feels quicker and easier

It does feel quicker and easier to get appointments now. I mainly try to use the online system to book appointments so I can choose who I see when but it does mean I have to wait two weeks for an appointment. It does help to have different options for arranging appointments and I really like being able to choose which doctor to see., seeing the same person does help with continuity too. Overall the practice has a better atmosphere aswell.

It's very good to get appointments. When you contact the surgery by phone the staff are always good . I always try to see the same GP if possible but it might mean a bit more of a wait but I'm happy to do that, for urgent issues I'm more than happy to see any of the staff. I recently attended the surgery feeling very unwell at my appointment and staff quickly assessed me and found I was having a heart attack so an ambulance was called. They acted so quickly and were really great, I can't praise them enough.

Today it was okay and I got an urgent or on the day appointment but normally I've been offered one in 2 weeks time before and that feels a long time to wait. I've had no issues with the staff but the main issue is getting appointments quickly enough.
